FIFA World Cup Updates: Who Will Win the World Cup?

Finally it has come to the final four: Brazil, Germany, Argentina and Netherlands. Who will get to hold the World Cup at the Final match on July 13th at 1 p.m. (Pacific Time Zone)

Here are the schedules for the semi-finals coming up:

Tuesday, July 8th at 1 p.m. (PDT)

Brazil VS. Germany

Wednesday, July 9th at 1 p.m. (PDT)

Argentina VS. Netherlands.

The world’s football lovers are looking forward to those matches. However, it’s a bit depressing to see some of the legendary will not be able to participate for the next match.

Neymar da Silva Santos Junior from Brazil is the first one. Neymar is 22 years old and he had won South American Footballer of the Year in 2011 and 2012. He is associated with FC Barcelona in La Liga and was the top star player for the Brazil team.  Remarkable reputation only saddened his fans more when he was hit by Colombian player, Juan Camilo Zuniga, in the back, breaking his vertebra. FIFA announced that there will be no penalty against the Colombian player although Brazilian fans were frustrated by the incident. Will Brazil be okay without the top player running for the next semi-final?

Angel Di Maria from Argentina is the second one. There is no certainty that he will be able to run the finals, but he will not be able to run the semi-final that’s coming up on Wednesday. (He is my favorite player because I think his moves are so delicate and graceful) He injured his hamstring on the quarter-final match against Belgium. The injury comes from himself but him being one of the top two players from Argentina (one being Messi of course) will make a lot of difference in the Semi-final. Messi and Di Maria together were like a nuclear bomb on the field. Will Di Maria be able to run for the Finals at least?
